Our Team

With over 30 years of experience in education, Dirk has served as an adult ESL teacher, Special Education teacher, and Special Education Program Coordinator. He holds bachelor's degrees in psychology and teaching, along with a Master’s in Education. Dirk's expertise lies in research-based inclusive practices, particularly those grounded in brain-based instruction and Universal Design for Learning. For the past 9 years,  he has led behavior management efforts at Amarillo Independent School District, a K-12 public school, through the Handle With Care system.
