Handle With Care - Human & Social Services
HWC’s behavior management program is about creating a culture where staff are equipped to manage the emotional rollercoaster of working with vulnerable individuals. At HWC, we focus on providing practical tools, like clear and simple de-escalation methods and combine that with the ability to recognize when someone just needs an empathetic ear. Our approach is grounded in the principle that it is less about what you say, and more about how you say it. People can tell when something is done for them versus when something is done to them.
"When I had the opportunity to learn and utilize a non-Handle With Care system, it was immediately clear to me that Handle With Care was easier to use and was safer for staff and clients."
Dylan Bjorkman - C-V Ranch
